“We have just wrapped up a full kitchen renovation - all flooring, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing was torn out and replaced. Knowing very little about kitchens or design, we reached out to Matt Polson for an initial discussion - probably the smartest move we've made in the 30 years we've owned this house. Matt is knowledgeable and approachable, and also has strong relationships with a number of kitchen designers, so he was able to walk us all the way through the evaluation, design and quote phases making sure we were comfortable and happy with the process and the design. He put together a project plan and quote and then stayed completely on target all the way through the project. During the planning phase, the project did creep to include renovating the front foyer, changing all the lighting on the ground floor, updating our family room and living room with small touches and painting the kitchen and all the common areas in the house. Matt was helpful and accommodating on all the changes, often suggesting alternatives that we had not considered. The project was completed on time and on budget, but more importantly Matt was in constant consultation with us while it progressed. His attention to detail is outstanding, and if a flawed piece was delivered (it happens), Matt would call and explain the issue and the solution. All plans require modification once they touch reality, and this one was no exception, but rather than build to plan and then have to redo it later, Matt would make us aware and then work through solutions with us so the work only had to be done once. When the house was given back to us, it was neat and complete, allowing us to get the full effect of the renovation immediately.
The quality of workmanship is top notch, the end result is spectacular and I would highly recommend Polson Home Renovations to anyone thinking about a high end renovation.”
